Annual Disclosure Form Launch [Faculty and Investigators Message]

January 27, 2026

Dear Colleagues,

Today, you will receive your annual disclosure form regarding any outside interests, relationships, or professional activities to assist in the identification of potential, perceived, or actual conflicts of interest or conflicts of commitment. Please remember that making a disclosure does not imply wrongdoing, and doing so can protect you and the university. Completion of your disclosure form is required to comply with university policy and is also a part of the annual reporting cycle. If you are required to submit an annual report, it will not be considered complete if your disclosure form is incomplete. Deliberately failing to disclose an outside interest or activity creates risks for you and the university and may be subject to disciplinary policies and procedures in the Faculty Code, Employee Handbook, or other governing agreements.

You will receive an email from the Office of Ethics, Compliance, and Risk (OECR)’s organization account, complyatgwu [dot] edu (comply[at]gwu[dot]edu), which will contain an individualized link to your disclosure form. It is expected that the disclosure form will be completed to the best of your ability by February 9, 2026, and that, if requested, subsequent information will be provided.

For questions regarding disclosure requirements or form completion, please contact OECR directly at complyatgwu [dot] edu (comply[at]gwu[dot]edu).

Our shared commitment to ethical conduct in all that we do calls on us to act with integrity and trust and to exercise appropriate responsibility to our positions and roles. Thank you in advance for your engagement in this important process.

Sincerely,

John Lach
Interim Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs
