Dear Students,
We commend you on your perseverance, well-earned accomplishments in and out of the classroom, and ever-present dedication to academic excellence this semester. The fall semester has brought challenges, celebrations, change, and innovation, and our community has continued to grow stronger and more resilient throughout. From the launch of the new Center for Interfaith and Spiritual Life in the Division for Student Affairs to the ongoing development of a new strategic framework, this semester has been full of milestones.
As your fall classes conclude and finals begin, take time to reflect on the obstacles you have overcome, feel confident in your academic preparation, and remember that your overall wellbeing is an important factor in your success. Finish the semester strong by prioritizing both physical and mental health while you approach final exams. Take a break from studying by visiting the Lerner Health and Wellness Center. If you are feeling heightened anxiety or stress, Counseling and Psychological Services has same-day appointments daily from noon to 4 p.m. in the Student Health Center, and you can access TimelyCare for virtual on-demand care. Additional academic and wellbeing resources can be found at the bottom of this message.
Please remember to show support and respect to your classmates during this busy time. As in past finals periods, spaces on the Foggy Bottom campus are designated 24-hour quiet areas including University Yard until Dec. 18 and Kogan Plaza until Dec. 20.
Finally, we wish you a happy and restful winter break and look forward to welcoming you back for an exciting spring semester.
Sincerely,
Christopher Alan Bracey
