Last night, the results of the graduate teaching, research, and instructional assistants (“graduate assistants”) union election were tallied. We write to inform you that the majority of the votes were in favor of forming a union.
Since the outset of this process, we have made clear our commitment to supporting our graduate assistants, who significantly contribute to our academic mission through your scholarship and leadership.
We will continue to work diligently with you to ensure that you have a meaningful and successful graduate experience at GW, and we look forward to your continued contributions to our scholarly community.
