The Associate Provost for Academic Planning and Assessment is responsible for meeting the University's growing need for accurate and timely institutional data for federal reporting, to support university decision-makers, and to respond to external requests for information; providing guidelines and methods to evaluate and assess students learning experiences; undertaking major survey research about students, faculty, and staff and by coordinating the development, distribution, and analysis of these results; and for the annual production of the university Bulletin.

Geneva also leads GWIT and oversees the transition of GW’s IT infrastructure, working to align IT more closely with the university’s research, education, and clinical services. The Vice Provost for Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement supports the university’s vision for excellence through diversity initiatives and programming. The Administrative Dean for the Virginia Science and Technology Campus (VSTC) is the key central administrative presence at VSTC, managing communications, operations, and research.
